Ariel Deitz is Director of Mobile Advertising for AOL in the Mid-Atlantic. Ariel has spent almost a decade building successful campaigns for the world’s top political candidates, associations and advocacy groups in, Washington DC, Baltimore, PA. A graduate from New York University, she has seen mobile advertising grow from SMS campaigning to static 120×20 ads; from Video Interstitials to fully immersive Rich Media Video experiences. As the industry’s creative and targeting capabilities expand, so does the scale of the opportunity, and Ariel is ecstatic to be part of the historical changes mobile is making to this year’s campaign cycle.
Prior to AOL, Ariel’s professional experience spanned multiple mediums including broadcast, print, and digital with marketing and sales positions at Sports Illustrated, CBS Sports & Time Inc.
She periodically serves as an Adjunct Professor at American University and is currently the President of the American Advertising Federation of Baltimore. She lives in Annapolis, MD with her husband and two children.
