Mack McKelvey

Throughout her 22-year career, Erin (Mack) McKelvey has led transformative teams that accelerate revenue and create market differentiation for publicly traded and privately held technology companies.

For the past five years, Mack has served as the Founder/CEO of SalientMG, a strategic marketing firm that specializes in executive visibility and go-to-market programs that create market and category differentiation for technology companies. She built Salient from start up to a multimillion-dollar firm within two years with clients such as Rovio (Angry Birds), Verizon, Starwood Hotels, Etsy, Caesars Entertainment, Grindr, Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), and numerous startups.

Mack is a contributor to Fortune, Entrepreneur, Luxury Daily, CMO.com, MediaPost and other business and trade publications on leadership, management and marketing innovation; and she is a mentor in ACP’s US Military Veterans Mentor program. Mack is a graduate of the 2017 Mindshare executive leadership program in DC; she is building her first technology startup and writing her first novel.

Prior to SalientMG, Mack was the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Millennial Media, from the company’s start-up stage through its successful 2012 IPO. Before Millennial, Mack held senior business and marketing roles at SIRIUS XM, VeriSign, CGI, and British Telecom; she began her career at Lucent Technologies.

Mack is a speaker, business/industry awards’ judge (including The Drum, American Business Awards, IAB Mixx, Women in Marketing, etc.) and she is a start-up advisor and investor. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Festival of Marketing (UK), Advertising Week New York and Advertising Week Europe, and Women in Marketing (UK). She previously served on the North American Board of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) and the Mobile Board of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).

Mack worked with Business Insider to create the 2016, 2015 and 2014 lists of “The Most Powerful Women in Mobile Advertising”. In 2013 and 2012, Mack was named one of “The Most Powerful Women in Mobile Advertising” by Business Insider. In 2012, Mack received the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Silver Medal Award for outstanding industry contribution. In 2010, she was listed on the inaugural “Mobile Women to Watch” by Mobile Marketer; and she was a contributing author of Mobile Marketing for Dummies.

Mack lives in the DC area with her husband, has a married son in Atlanta and a daughter who is a senior at the University of Alabama. Roll Tide.
